Nyawira Vivian Gichuhi, known professionally as Miss Nyawira, is a Nairobi-based actress whose work spans television drama, film, and theatre. She currently leads the telenovela 'Lazizi' (Multan Production / Maisha Magic), and has featured in 'Reckless' (Showmax), the film 'Two Let' (Showmax), and 'Njoro wa Uba'. In 2022 she won Best Breakthrough Female Performer at the Kenya Theatre Awards, and has since been nominated for Best Actor in a TV Drama at the Women in Film Awards and Best Actress in a TV Drama (East Africa) at the Zanzibar International Film Festival.

I started acting professionally in 2021 with Liquid Arts Entertainment, but it goes back much further than that — church plays and school drama teams since I was a child, the kind of thing that starts as fun and quietly becomes identity. Joining the Daystar University drama club is where my desire to do this professionally really began to grow. Being raised by my mother, an artist herself, has been the clearest example in my life that this path is survivable — that you can build a real career here, not just a passion project. She showed me it's possible to thrive in this industry, and watching her do it made it feel possible for me too.
